Most people travel to Las Vegas during the summer to see the casinos and lights on The Strip, to gamble, stay in luxury hotels, and visit tourist attractions. The city, however, has quite a few things to do during the holidays and I’ve listed the best things to do for Christmas.
Go Ice Skating
Ice skating is quite a popular thing to do during the holidays where many people do it in New York, Los Angeles, Paris, and more. One of the most popular ice skating rinks is The Ice Rink at the Cosmopolitan. The rink is open from November 21st, 2018 to January 6th 2019.
Go See Holiday Lights
Holiday lights and decor are put up pretty much everywhere around The Strip. Hotels and casinos, shopping centers, tourist attractions, and more all put up holiday lights and decor. A popular place to see holiday decor is the Bellagio Botanical Gardens with large Christmas trees and other large decor. There are, of course, quite a few neighborhoods where you can see holiday lights. Hotels and casinos and shopping centers on The Strip seem to put up the most lights, though. Shopping centers also hold event and specials for shoppers. Pretty much all the tourist attractions put up holiday decor so if you’re visiting the city you’ll probably see holiday decor anyway.
Go See Fireworks
Hotels and casinos on The Strip do fireworks every 4th of July and the show is quite popular. The city also does fireworks for New Years. The event is pretty popular and many people will be on The Strip to see the fireworks. It’s cold during the show so you should wear winter clothing. You can also see the show from your hotel if you have a view of the strip or from hotel lounges and bars. You can also see it from other attractions around the city.
There are a few other things you can do in Las Vegas for the holidays but these are the best. You can go ice skating at quite a few rinks. Hotels and casinos, shopping centers, tourist attractions, and more put up holiday lights and decor, you can see holiday lights in quite a few neighborhoods, and shopping centers hold events and specials for shoppers. You can also see fireworks on New Years Eve.
