Designer Surfboards – Cool limited edition surfboards from Boom Art
For their last collection of limited designer surfboards, Boom Art designed some cool surfboards and skateboards in collaboration with UWL Surfboards. The result exceeds every limit of the imagination with the images of Renaissance artists. All masterpieces are made exclusively by hand in France from hard foam polyester resin and polyurethane foam and each piece has a special number. They are available in stores for around 1890 euros each.

The illustration “The Lady and the Unicorn” is originally the motif of a tapestry made of wool and silk, which dates from the Middle Ages and dates from around 1500 AD. originated. It is one of the most important works of art in France from this era. The designers of Boom art have separated the whole figure into 3 parts that compose a triptych. The work depicts, among other things, the five senses – touch, sight, smell, taste and hearing.

The three designer surfboards cost around 5,600 euros and are carefully packed in a special wooden box. For every surfboard you buy, you also get a matching hook to hang it on the wall, a certificate of its origin, a carrier bag and slats. The surfboards from this series all have the dimensions 185 x 48.26 x 5.08 centimeters and are sent free of charge.

These designer surfboards with artistic images from the Middle Ages are limited to 10 pieces and handmade in France. That makes them particularly valuable and unique. One of the most famous pictures among the limited collection is that of Hieronymus Bosch (1450-1516), a Dutch Renaissance painter. The other works also come from this period, including the illustration by Simon Marmion (1703-1770).
The company is known worldwide for its high-quality designer surfboards and skateboards with attractive, unique images. Most of them come across as very provocatively funny and in a casual way mock American culture. Such images are pin up girls, cartoons and caricatures.
