  • 200 grams of granulated sugar
  • 50 ml strong, cold espresso
  • Depending on your taste, 2-3 tablespoons of amaretto liqueur

Preparation:

  • First, clean half of the strawberries and puree them finely with the hand blender. Cut the remaining strawberries into slices.
  • Put the puree with 2 tablespoons of sugar in a saucepan and simmer over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  • Remove from heat and let cool down to room temperature.
  • Separate egg whites and yolks and beat the yolks with 150 grams of sugar at low speed for 5-7 minutes until a creamy white mass is formed.
  • Next, beat the egg whites with the remaining sugar until stiff.
  • Slowly work the mascarpone into the egg yolk mixture and carefully stir until smooth with a wooden spoon.
  • Now slowly fold in the egg white and stir everything into a smooth mass.

  • Then pour in some strawberry puree and spread the strawberry pieces on top. Cover with mascarpone cream.
  • Repeat the above step for the second layer and place the strawberry tiramisu in the glass in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  • Decorate with some fresh strawberries and fresh mint and serve!
