Muffin recipes for effective desserts
We’ll show you two Muffin recipes to imitate for Christmas, as well as instructions for a great glaze. Just try them out. But no matter which of the two great variants of the Muffin recipes You choose, you can finally decorate it nicely and for Christmas.
Muffin Recipes – Mini Chocolate Muffins
– 90 g of flour
– 1 tsp baking soda
– 20 g cocoa
– 1 egg
– 60 g of sugar
– 60 ml of milk
– 50 g butter
– 50 g chocolate chips
– 25 g of grated chocolate or chocolate sprinkles to decorate
Mix the flour, cocoa and baking soda together in a bowl and set aside. In another bowl, stir the butter with a mixer over medium heat until frothy and then gradually add the sugar. Smash the egg and mix well with the butter. Gradually add the dry ingredients and the milk, stirring constantly. Finally stir in the chocolate chips.
Prepare a mini muffin pan. Fill with paper cases and 1/3 of these with the dough. Sprinkle with grated chocolate. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Bake muffins for 15 minutes.
Muffin Recipes – Strawberry Muffins with Rosemary
– 175 g of flour
– 1/2 tbsp baking soda
– 50 g white sugar
– 35 g of brown sugar
– 1/4 tbsp salt
– 60 g butter
– 1 egg
– 2 tbsp cream
– 1/4 cup of milk
– 1 tbsp grated lemon peel
– 2/3 teacup strawberries cut into small pieces (fresh or compote)
– 1 stalk of rosemary
Muffin recipes – Preparation:
Mix the flour, baking soda, white sugar, lemon zest, rosemary leaves and salt together. Set the bowl aside and pick up a second one. Mix in the softened butter, brown sugar and egg with a mixer until you get a smooth liquid. Add the cream and milk to the egg mixture and mix well. Stir in the strawberries with a spoon.
First fill the muffin tin with paper liners and then halfway with the finished dough. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
Muffin Recipes – The “Royal Icing” Glaze
All you need to decorate the muffins is a few sugar pearls, colorful sprinkles, sugar dough or a glaze and whatever else you can think of. For the glaze we present you a recipe with which you can prepare the so-called royal icing. Find out how below.
– 330 g of powdered sugar
– 2 egg whites
– 2 teaspoons of lemon juice
Beat eggs and lemon juice with a blender. Add the powdered sugar, stirring constantly.
You can put the finished glaze in different bowls and then color it with different food colors. You can then use it to decorate the muffins. Have fun!
