For the fresh pear and banana smoothie you need the following ingredients:

3 ripe pears

3 ripe bananas

2-3 star anise

¼ teaspoon cinnamon, ground

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Make sure that both the pears and the bananas are ripe. In the case of pears, the degree of ripeness can be recognized by the color of the skin – yellowish fruits are basically considered ripe. To be on the safe side, you can test whether the shell gives way when you apply light pressure. Ripe bananas can also be recognized by their yellow skin.

1. First wash all fruits thoroughly.

2. Peel the bananas, you don’t necessarily have to peel the pears.
