Christmas quiz with solutions – instructive questions for adults and seniors

Guessing games are very popular and not without reason. They not only stimulate our innate fighting spirit, but also nourish our thirst for knowledge. So taking a quiz is fun and you can learn a lot of new things in the process. In line with the current Christmas season, we have put together a Christmas quiz with solutions for you, with which you can pass your time on Christmas Eve in a fun way and learn new things about the topic of “Christmas”. The Christmas quiz questions are moderately difficult to difficult and are therefore best suited for teenagers, adults and seniors.

Christmas quiz with solutions – game ideas

Interesting questions about Christmas - where does the advent calendar come from

A Christmas quiz game with several people is especially great fun. However, one of them has the task of reading out the questions and giving the correct answer and therefore cannot participate, as the Christmas quiz has solutions in the right corner just below the question. Otherwise, the Christmas puzzle for seniors, adults and teenagers can be played in different ways:

  • everyone plays individually and collects points, for example
  • you play in twos with a partner and can counsel each other before making a decision
  • you play in teams of more than two people, whereby the team members can consult with each other

Christmas quiz with solutions - what were the first artificial Christmas trees made of

The Christmas quiz with solutions is perfect for a spontaneous game afternoon during the Christmas season. However, if you have already planned in advance to play something with the guests for Christmas, you can still make some additional preparations to make the Christmas quiz with questions and answers even more interesting.

This allows you to get a grand prize for whoever or the team earns the most points (have a few extra questions ready in case the quiz ends in a tie and a decision needs to be made). Consolation prizes can also be distributed for second place or for all other teams and players.

You can also come up with a “punishment” for the loser. For example, they have to set the Christmas table, do the dishes after the dinner or serve the winners. In this way the fighting spirit is really awakened.

Exciting Christmas quiz with answers in a certain time

Christmas quiz with solutions - How does the song about Rudolph the red nose end

Make the Christmas quiz even more exciting with solutions by giving players only a certain amount of time per question. This time pressure can provoke really funny reactions from the players and cause big laughs. 10 to 20 seconds should be enough for a question. Accordingly, you can distribute the points as follows:

  • 2 points for the correct answer in the given time
  • 1 point for an incorrect answer given within the given time
  • 0 points for an answer outside the given time or for no answer

You can also note the time each player or team needs per question. If there is a tie at the end of the game, total time can determine who is the actual winner – the faster team wins.

Christmas quiz for seniors and at the Christmas party

Christmas quiz with solutions - How many Christmas carols are there

A Christmas party in the company is unfortunately canceled this year due to the pandemic, so a funny Christmas quiz for the Christmas party is not an option either. However, at least a certain number of people can gather in a private atmosphere so that you can use the quiz questions for Christmas in a family environment for a great afternoon of games at Christmas. The Christmas quiz with solutions will make us forget the unpleasant last year, at least for a while.

The Christmas quiz with solutions is also ideally suited for the retirement home. Many retirees celebrate the festival in these surroundings. So why not organize a game afternoon or evening there that everyone can participate in? The game with questions about Christmas for seniors can be played with the same rules as described above – individually or in teams, with and without time limits.
