Glass partition wall for living areas in industrial design – set accents with black design elements
In this post we introduce you to a modern glass partition for living area from a modern apartment in Ukraine, which was designed for a young businessman with industrial details. The main idea of the project was to furnish a studio apartment with one bedroom and two bathrooms.
Glass partition wall for living areas with an innovative design
The architects from 33bY divided the space by using practical glass walls to define the boundaries between the rooms. They have also created an open and great-looking glass partition for living areas at the same time. For the production of the glass structure, the team used an innovative system with which the glass can be matted in order to offer more privacy and intimacy.
The interior impresses with a rich color palette and a variety of materials. This is also equipped with various structures, surfaces such as brick, natural African black stone, onyx, leather, copper, wood and many design details.
Another highlight that, in addition to the modern glass partition wall for living areas, makes the design project successful is the wall made of black building blocks. The golden decorative elements fit perfectly into the color scheme and give the room a noble touch.
The designers have combined the living room with a kitchen, a dining area and a work space. To even out the dark tones, they added a large, light area. Furthermore, a border made of copper surrounds a plate made of white onyx with background lighting. The panel glows at night and creates a cozy atmosphere. It is at the center of the interior and residents can see its splendor from all main areas of the apartment.
Glass partition wall for living area creates a unique ambience
The interior design with a freestanding bathtub was an unusual and stylish solution for the bedroom. This is at this point due to the customer’s request. In his opinion, the most important point is to be able to enjoy the city view from the picture windows while taking a bath.
If you want to create a sense of intimacy in this room, all you need to do is press a button. This makes the partition completely opaque, as if you were teleporting into a new room.
One of the biggest challenges for the architectural office was to install the part with the wardrobe in a small living space. For this reason, the interior designers decided to make the whole thing mobile. This is how they created the cool wardrobe that moves with the push of a button and opens the remaining areas. These are therefore very close to the wall in order to save space.
The bathroom has also been adapted to the industrial style of the apartment. The designers have combined the dark colors with light, with many copper elements such as faucets in the foreground.
The black sanitary ware and the blue shelves for towels with integrated LED lights complete the whole thing. The guest toilet is also completely black in order to visually expand the space.
