Designer furniture in white – fairytale furniture collection by Baxter

These fascinating Designer furniture were at the maison & Objet 2014 exhibition presented in Paris and are part of a collection called “Scenes d‘ Interieur “. Designed by Paola Navone for Baxter, the setting looks like the ice queen’s castle at first, but the interior is very inviting and incredibly warm. The capitonnized Chester sofa Diana made of moon nubuck leather invites you to relax. There are also the white Mongolia fur cushions, which you can casually throw on the deep seat of the sofa. This fur is used for the upholstery of the Nepal chair.

Each chair has a different structure and design, while all use Baxters leather and come in either snow white, glossy white or matt white. The Carrera marble dining table is large and eye-catching. The oversized pendant is a smart way to make the arrangement look more intimate.

Baxter’s leather is the soul of this collection. It’s smooth and shiny and comfortable for the backrests of the armchairs, soft on the oversized stool and interesting on the capitonnated sofa. The many textures that Paola Navone depicted for Baxter in this furniture collection are even more magical with the elimination of all color. Here we can really appreciate the characteristics of the lamps, the side tables and even the LED installation. The choice of white flowers in white ceramic vases and mirrored tables creates a poetic and imaginative fairy tale where one almost expects a mythical and beautiful ice princess to appear.
