In search of inspiration for their spring collections, the designers looked optimistically ahead. Outfits in oranges drew the attention of all fashionistas in both London and New York. The bright “Marigold” orange reminds us of a warm and sunny day and is one of the most beautiful trend colors for spring-summer 2021. The color has a soft golden undertone, which provides a warming effect and gives our outfits a refreshing touch. The friendly hue brightened up the Prada, Richard, Malone and Etro collections. In the midst of a palette of predominantly light and flowery nuances, the autumn color feels unusually chic and refreshing for the warmer months. The shimmering shade was strongly represented in the collections of LaQuan Smith, Valentino, Burberry and Miu Miu and has since appeared more and more on the radar of fashion-conscious women. However, this is no surprise, because after all, Burnt Orange gives a feeling of cosiness and harmonizes perfectly with soft cream nuances or with white, black and dark blue.

Blue is very popular for the coming season and after “Classic Blue” has already been crowned Pantone color 2020, the most varied shades of blue are still among the most popular trend colors for spring-summer 2021. The light and airy sky blue is intended to remind us of a sunny spring day is a stylish way to bring a breath of fresh air to our looks. Spiced up with bright accessories and shoes, the monochrome outfits in the collections by Fendi, Boss and Ferragane made our hearts beat faster. Mint green can be perfectly styled with clothing and accessories in other pastel colors as well as white, beige and cream. Another shade of green has also made it into the most important trend colors for spring-summer 2021, namely Pickled Pepper. It is a light green tone with a light brown-yellow undertone and is particularly flattering in combination with other earthy natural tones such as beige and brown.

Living Coral was already the Pantone Color of the Year 2019 and is coming back this year – but in a slightly softer and light version.
