For her university degree, the designer Danit Peleg created a fashion collection as a diploma thesis. The designs themselves completely correspond to the 2015 fashion trends – two-piece suits in plain color but with attractive patterns, airy skirts and crop tops dominated the catwalk. But the really special thing about the collection was the material and the production of the clothes – these were made using a 3D printer.
Fashion trends 2015 – in the future everyone will be a designer themselves?
Inspired by the new technologies, the designer Danit Peleg asked herself the question – can everyone become a designer and clothing manufacturer themselves in the future? She did numerous samples with a 3D printer and made beautiful modern dresses, skirts and costumes. These emphasize femininity, are comfortable to wear and have elegant cuts. And the best thing about it – similar to the way we now use patterns from magazines, in the future we could buy 3D printer programs and make the clothes we like at home ourselves. Could this be the future of the fashion industry??
Fashion Trends 2015 – the new 3D clothing was presented during a fashion show
The attractive clothes – a total of 6 outfits – were presented during the graduation ceremony in Israel. Numerous celebrities have watched the fashion show. The audience was delighted with the end result – we are too, and can hardly wait for the talented young designer’s next project! A film about the creative process can be found at the end of the article.
