Cereal Easter Eggs – Ingredients:
3 tablespoons of butter
1 package (10 ½) mini marshmallows
Different colors for food (optional)
6 cups of crispy rice cakes (like rice krispies)
Various M & M (preferably minis), frozen (optional)
Easter eggs from cereals – preparation:
Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir the marshmallows in the butter and wait until they are completely melted. Take the pot off the stove. If you want you can color this mixture. Depending on your needs, you could do this several times with different colors.
Stir the cereals into the marshmallow mixture. Generously coat their palms with kitchen spray. Make 15 to 20 oval “eggs” out of the mixture, which is still warm. Work quickly or the mixture will be tough. If you’d like you could put the eggs in M & Roll M’s.
Then let them cool down completely. Then wrap them in cellophane or store them in an airtight container.
