Baking Easter Cookies – Easy Recipe
Ingredients:
125 g soft butter
1/2 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups of flour
1-2 tablespoons of milk
Glaze:
1 cup of powdered sugar
4-5 teaspoons of water
Using an electric mixer, beat the butter, sugar and vanilla extract until everything is mixed well.
Add the flour and milk and stir with a wooden spoon until a soft batter is formed. Knead the dough on a floured work surface.
Divide the dough in two. Shape each piece into a ball – 10 cm in diameter. Wrap the balls separately in parchment paper and store in the refrigerator for 40 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 160 ° C. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Roll out the dough, about 5 mm. Cut out the shapes and place the cookies on the baking sheet and let them cool again.
Bake the cookies for 12 to 15 minutes or until they turn golden brown. Transfer to a wire rack and let cool.
Glaze: Combine the powdered sugar and water to form a thick mixture. Add a few drops of food coloring. Stir until everything is well mixed. And the glazing can begin!
