Located in the desert in Arizona, USA, this one House on the water was designed as a summer villa for a family. The architects were inspired by the surrounding nature. The house facade still has some similarities to modern architecture in Europe and perhaps because of this it looks familiar and cozy. The construction is simple – large concrete blocks make the house look massive, while a glazed facade visually connects the inside with the outside area. A sun canopy and pergolas offer protection on hot days, while an outdoor pool invites you to cool off. As is well known, it gets cold very quickly in the desert in the evening after sunset, which is why a fireplace was provided in the garden – so the homeowners can enjoy nature longer.

Inside from House on the water the color scheme impresses – the light sand color calms the senses and comfortable seating – the upholstered sofa set and two small stools offer enough space for the whole family. A fireplace was also planned in the living room – which creates a connection to the country house style. A long bar with a marble counter is seamlessly adjacent to the living room. A modern corner kitchen, equipped with everything necessary, is on the other side of the bar counter. The dining room is furnished with a large long table, where the family and their guests can relax from the long day and spend pleasant evenings together.
