The industrial style is becoming increasingly popular with the modern one Home furnishings. And this 90 square meter apartment in Kiev, Ukraine is a fine example of that. The apartment in the Lipinka district belongs to a young couple with a dog and the project was carried out by the architectural firm 2B Group from the same city. The studio is run by two talented architects – Viacheslav Balbek and Olga Bogdanova, who love to furnish lofts. When designing this apartment, they have made clever use of modern style and industrial elements. The brick wall, the wood stove in the living room, the wall shelves made from old suitcases are just some of the highlights that inspire the audience.
Modern home furnishings with industrial elements
The living area is open plan and radiates a certain warmth. The red brick wall and wood stove contrast with the white kitchenette on the other side of the room. The large modular sofa in the middle of the room emphasizes the simple lifestyle of the young family. Even the dog has its little place. His bed is integrated in the built-in cupboard next to the kitchenette. The bedroom is spacious and minimalist in style. The accent here is again a red brick wall, which is additionally emphasized at night by indirect lighting. From the bedroom you go directly to the bathroom. The room is divided into two. The floor-level shower, toilet and bidet are separated from the bathtub by a glass wall. Here the architect has again opted for a neutral color palette and optically divided both areas. The tiles in natural stone look create a pleasant ambience, while the white floor tiles appear pure and elegant.
