The award-winning architect is on the lookout for new manufacturing techniques and can even redefine formal relationships. Her latest success in fashion are the “NOVA” shoes, which were created in collaboration with the brand United Nude designed by Rem Koolhaas D. Zaha Hadid brings her architectural style to the women’s feet and presents these amazingly futuristic shoes without heels. This extravagant couple costs 1500 euros.
Experimental shoe design without heels
The United Nude store in Paris exhibited NOVA Schuh on July 5th. The design draws on the structural principles and presents us with a shoe without a heel, but with a height of 16 cm. United Nude claims that the digitally designed shoes (made of vinyl, rubber, fiberglass and leather) are not only comfortable but revolutionary: “NOVA is the first shoe in history designed using the rotational molding process – the only technology that allows a smooth and enables seamless result like this. “
