Handicrafts with pompons – colorful gift packaging ideas

Probably the easiest way to design the gift wrapping is to distribute such tiny felt pompons in different colors on the wrapping paper after you’ve wrapped the gift. These are fixed with hot glue or other glue. You are also welcome to make a bobble out of wool instead of the classic bow and wrap it around the package with pretty thread.

Choose the colors depending on the occasion (e.g. brightly colored for a birthday and in white, green and red for Christmas) and in this way create gift packaging that matches the theme.

If you make animals out of pompons, you can also use other materials. For this purpose, a pink pipe cleaner was used for the flamingo, which forms the long neck. A pink bobble of wool shapes the body, and the legs are made from the hanging ends of the wool thread that was used to tie the package.

Small fruits made from pom-poms, which you can get quickly and easily by combining the right color (e.g. red for cherries and apples, yellow for lemons, green for limes) with a few sheets of felt or paper, also have a nice summery look. First glue the leaves onto the wrapping paper and then glue the pompons, which overlap the leaves a little.

Especially for an occasion in winter, whether a birthday, normal party or Christmas, simple branches are a great basis for decorating gifts. By simply gluing small pompons to the branches, it will appear as if they are berries. This way you can make a chic and simple gift wrap.
