The picture above shows “Front” – a modern wall-mounted coat rack made of solid wenge, designed by Skala Design-Lasse Pettersson and Lennart Notman in 2004. The standing coat rack Nest is a design by Gabriella Gustafson and Mattias Ståhlbom from 2007. The coat stand, inspired by bird nests, is an asymmetrical composition of criss-cross bars (branches) that serve as coat hooks. According to the designer, Nest is based on the principle of “organized chaos”.

The wall-mounted coat rack TRIPPO (2002) by Ulla Christiansson consists of a table, shelf, chair and armchair. The piece of furniture is suitable for different environments and is available in three widths, three depths and 10 different heights. The shelf is made of blockboard and is available with oak or birch wood veneer. Book stands and clothes rails are available as accessories.
Ponoq Collection – modern hall wardrobes
Ponoq Collection was created in 2009 by Nils Gulin for Karl Andersson & Söner designed and consists of a lacquered, free-standing coat stand, table tops in various heights with an integrated stool, coat hooks for wall mounting, optionally with an umbrella stand.
Ponoq is made of a special compact laminate and offers a highly durable, resistant and stable surface that is ideal for use in high-wear environments. The coat hooks can be folded out and when not in use they disappear almost invisibly into the wall.
The coat stand consists of a free-standing white lacquered metal column, mounted on a base plate made of white compact laminate. This can be secured on the floor using a concealed fitting. Four alternatives are available as color combinations – white-black, black-white, white-red and. Umbrella frames can be ordered as accessories.
