Improved driving fun with the new BMW M3 2014 and M4 2014
BMW shows the new one BMW M3 2014 and M4 2014. As expected, the manufacturers of BMW released their new models. All details about the sporty modifications of the 3 and 4 series have been announced. They were also presented at the Detroit Auto Show.
BMW M3 2014 and M4 2014 – The 3.0-liter engine has 431 hp
The technical characteristics of the BMW M3 2014 and M4 2014. The two speedsters get the output of 431 hp at 5500 and 7300 rpm thanks to their 3.0-liter turbo engine TwinPower with 6 cylinders. The torque of 550 Nm is reached at 1,850 and 5,500 rpm. In comparison, the former V8 engine has an output of 420 hp at 8,300 rpm and 400 Nm at 3,900 rpm. Thanks to the increased power and torque, the two sports models can accelerate from zero to 100 km / h in 4.1 seconds. That is at least the case with the modifications of the BMW M3 2014 and M4 2014 with a seven-speed M-DCT with Launch Control. The models with a manual six-speed gearbox do this in 4.3 seconds. The governed top speed is 250 km / h. However, this can be increased to 280 km / h by ordering the M Driver Package.
The economical BMW M3 and M4 2014
There is a significant improvement in the BMW M3 2014 and M4 2014 also in terms of fuel consumption. For the models with manual gearshift this is 8.3 L / 100 km and those with M-DKG have a consumption of 8.8 L / 100 km. The values of the new BMW M3 are 25% better than those of its predecessor. The main reason for this is its weight reduced by 80 kg. The carbon roof reduces it by another 5 kg. Both models are produced in Germany, the BMW M3 sedan in 2014 in the company’s motor vehicle plant in Regensburg, and the M4 in Munich in 2014. The prices amount to 71,500 euros for the BMW M3 2014 and 72,200 euros for the M4 2014.
