Renovated Texas home promises luxury

Here is a great example of how a new perspective is created for an old house by building the spacious exterior and interior on two levels. Many of the existing walls were in this 3,532 square feet renovated house demolished to keep the house close to nature.

The newly created light-flooded room with extra-wide aluminum windows opened the kitchen to the dining room and living room. Everything was on a budget, but the result is more than fascinating. The outer skin was modernized with horizontal galvanized corrugated sheet metal. The yard is designed with fun areas ideal for a family.

The inexpensive plexiglass doors provide flexibility in connecting and expanding adjacent rooms when they are opened. A free-standing studio was positioned for a couple with three dogs to further split the upper terrace into two outdoor rooms. The upper and lower terraces are connected by large concrete stairs. That renovated house comprises five living areas, two dining rooms, three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
