House 53 – an innovative design idea

The construction area is quite small, and according to the city building regulations, the buildings in the neighborhood cannot be higher than 3 floors. And by following this rule, the architect managed to design a three-story house with a basement.

The ground floor consists of a kitchen and a long, living room that combines the dining room and living room in one. There are two entrances to the living area, located on the northeast and southwest facades. The area is enclosed by enormous sliding glass doors, allowing daylight to penetrate within the long room from both sides. So sees this innovative architecturer also practical and inviting.

A thick wall separates the living area from the long kitchen, which can be reached through a small corridor. A small open warehouse and bathroom nearby are available to residents. The kitchen itself is lit by long windows and opens to a small room that can be used as a laundry room and storage, and also provides staircase access to the basement. The staircase to the second floor has been placed below the living area. It leaves a very bright and stylish impression – the stairs look like they are floating in the air.

The second level has an enormous master bedroom with an entrance hall and bathroom and two smaller bedrooms with individual bathrooms. Each room opens to a large terrace that surrounds the building. The interiors in house 53 are minimalist and quite colorful. The ceilings were left white while the rest of the elements were clad in wood. It’s a clean modern combination of wood, glass and white plaster. One innovative architecture and an interesting design idea – House 53
