The minimalist House design was created as a result of the creative idea of the Japanese studio Unemori Architects. The house is located in Tokyo, Japan. The terrain on which it was built is no more than 35 square meters. The small usable area forced the architects to find an innovative solution so that the house still had enough space. The small House design looks charming and offers interesting design solutions.
Elegant little house design in Tokyo
The floors are connected by a spiral staircase and furnished in a minimalist way. There is one room on each floor. The floor level comprises the bedroom, the dining room on the first floor and a guest room on the second floor which can easily be converted into a cabinet. The designers have come up with various clever ways of saving space – many hidden cupboards and shelves ensure that the house is not flooded with furniture and things. The small House design convinces with its well thought-out design.
Small house design – create more space with creativity
The white walls leave the small one House design from Unemori Architects appear larger and more spacious. The oak was chosen as the main material – the red-brown wood connects all interior areas. The wooden flooring creates a cozy atmosphere. The fitted kitchen is small but nice. The sliding doors are reminiscent of the typical Japanese construction and at the same time save space. The bathroom is on the roof and is only painted in white. The large, glass sliding doors open onto the roof terrace and offer views of the city. Discreet lighting creates an atmosphere at night.
