the Villa Mecklin is a beautiful hillside house located on the Finnish archipelago. That rocky terrain the island is one of many where the Finns love to fish. The owners wanted a small building than Holiday home.
Great holiday home and great views
Its roof faces south and has a fireplace with a mobile glass roof, which is a great way to spend an evening outside while watching the sunset. Its wooden surfaces have been left untreated and they will naturally turn gray. The total living space is almost 800 square meters, while the area of the villa is 70 square meters, and the sauna – 20 square meters.
Around the fire
That great vacation home also has a sauna and a guest room. The interiors are finished with warm wood and simple finishes. The berths are located at the cooler north end of the building with minimal glazing, which helps regulate winter and summer temperatures. The villa was built in 2008.
