Architecture, dream homes

A house in the forest is characterized by a high level of environmental awareness

The surrounding area reveals a wonderful forest landscape with beautiful trees that have grown for years. The designers tried to create a house in the forest, inspired by the dignified presence of nature. The house in the forest at the foot of the Hanareyama is both free and spirited. The one-story house in the forest extends dynamically to the east and west with a sharply extended roof overhang, so that the horizontality against the surrounding landscape is emphasized with a strong, yet delicately vertical quality.

House in the woods in harmony with nature

The dining and living areas, as the most important rooms in the house, look into the garden from the south side and are filled with daylight. On the north side, with the seasonal view of Hanareyama, the sunlight reflects, which connects the landscapes with the interior spaces. While the east and west sides of the building are closed, the facades on the north and south sides are fully opened to create a comfortable space by always feeling the variety of natural conditions inside the house as the seasons change.

House in the woods ideal for relaxing

In addition, a terrace is made available on the south side as an extension of the living and dining room. A long porch extends deep into the garden. This enables the garden to be felt as a unified space with the house and offers a place where nature is discovered through all the senses. The goal is to relax the body and mind and to increase the sensitivity to the environment.

The house in the forest was built so with a high level of environmental awareness. The residents have the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful landscapes of nature in every season.
