Zara is the Mall Brand With the Most Followers on Instagram

H&M, Zara, and Forever 21 are the three biggest mall brands. Those are the brands that release the most new clothing every season, the ones that sell the best in malls, and the ones that are accused of copying luxury brands the most. Chanel has the most followers on Instagram out of the major three luxury brands but Zara has the most out of the three biggest mall brands.

Zara has 28 million followers on Instagram. That’s almost as much as Chanel with 30 million followers and more than Louis Vuitton with 27.2 million followers on Instagram. The brand’s posts get over 175,000 likes and many comments. Many brands, celebrities, and magazines usually only get about 10,000 likes and some comments. The brand is also the most popular mall brand of the three biggest mall brands where it always sells more clothes, releases more new clothes in new styles, and has more items similar to luxury brands that are affordable.

H&M has 27.2 followers on Instagram. That’s about as much as Louis Vuitton. The brand’s posts get over 188,000 likes. Pretty much no one has been shopping at H&M and the brand’s sales have been declining lately. At least they don’t shop much in stores. The brand doesn’t release new clothes as often and doesn’t have as much items similar to luxury brands. Although, the brand is still a favorite for shoppers who like affordable clothing.

Forever 21 has 15.3 million followers on Instagram. That’s much less than H&M but more than Hermès with 7.3 million followers on Instagram. The brand’s posts get over 39,000 likes. The brand seems to be less popular but it’s still a favorite for shoppers who like affordable clothing.

These mall brands has as many followers as luxury brands and even more than some luxury brands. Forever 21 has much less, which is surprising since people seem to shop more at Forever 21 than H&M. The brand does have more followers than other mall brands, though.

For example, Aeropostale has 3.8 million followers, Old Navy has 1.6 million followers, and Banana Republic has 1.1 million followers on Instagram. Those brands, however, aren’t as popular as Forever 21. Also, the three biggest mall brands also sell a lot of clothing online where more people are shopping online than in stores.
