Christmas is in about a month. Most people travel to Los Angeles for its beaches, Hollywood, Rodeo Drive, and more or to places like New York for the holidays but there is quite a lot to do in Los Angeles during the holidays. So, I’ve listed the best things to do in Los Angeles for the holidays.
Go See Christmas Lights
Los Angeles puts up quite a lot of holiday decor and lights. One of the most popular holiday lights display is the lights on display in Sherman Oaks. You can also see the lights on display at the Venice Canals. There are quite a few other neighborhoods where you can see holiday lights as well. Shopping centers also put up quite a lot of holiday decor and hold events and specials for shoppers. Rodeo drive puts up a lot of holiday decor and holds events for shoppers during the holiday season. Many tourist attractions also put up holiday decor so if you’re visiting Los Angeles you’ll probably see holiday lights anyway.
Go Ice Skating
It doesn’t snow in Los Angeles but you can still go ice skating. One of the most popular ice skating rinks is The Rink in downtown Burbank. There quite a few other ice skating rinks in Los Angeles as well. Many cities have ice skating rinks for the holidays and many of the rinks are located near downtown Los Angeles. They are also located near attractions so if you’re visiting Los Angeles you could probably go ice skating as well.
Go See a Parade
There are quite a few holiday parades in Los Angeles with the Rose Bowl Parade being one of the most popular. The Rose Bowl Parade is on New Years Day but you can still see quite a lot of holiday decor. There are other parades you can see in Los Angeles during the holiday season as well.
There are a few other things you can do in Los Angeles for the holidays but these are the best. There are quite a few neighborhoods where you can see holiday lights and decor and shopping centers put up quite a lot of decor and hold events and specials for shoppers. Attractions put up holiday decor as well. You can also go ice skating in Los Angeles. You can see a holiday parade as well.
