The Longchamp Le Pliage is, as I said in an article I wrote about it last week, my favorite handbag right now. It’s also a favorite of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, which is also kind of why it became so popular in the first place. I thought it would be fun to look at what models of the Le Pliage Kate Middleton has so today we’ll be doing that as well as looking at how much they cost and where to get them.
Small Handbag in Chocolate
First up, we have Kate Middleton carrying a Le Pliage over her wrist in a long overcoat. The model she is carrying is the small handbag in chocolate. It’s retail price is $95 but that color is no longer available through Longchamp, unless you get your bag personalized, so you’ll have to get one preowned on eBay or Etsy. Luckily, there are some preowned model out there that still look pretty brand new.
Large Tote in Black
Here we have the Duchess of Cambridge carrying a larger model in hand, though these are usually carried over the shoulder. Yep, it’s the tote version of the bag which is the most popular. This model is the large tote in black and you can get it here from Longchamp for $145.
Medium Handbag in Black
Here is Kate walking with Prince William while holding a Le Pliage. There seems to be a debate about what color and size of the bag is but the model she has is the medium handbag in black. You can get this bag here from Longchamp for $115.
Kate Middleton usually carries these three handbags when she carries Longchamp and you should, too, to get a little but of royal style in your wardrobe. Of course, you can get more bags from Longchamp but these three bags will serve you well as any Le Pliage would because of the amazing quality you get for the price.
Also, Pippa Middleton, Kate Middleton’s sister, carries Longchamp bags as well like this beautiful large tote bag in white which is now a rare color since Longchamp doesn’t sell Le Pliages in white anymore.
