Coach Inc. to Change Name to Tapestry Inc.

Coach Inc. was all over fashion news when it announced that it will change its name to Tapestry Inc. later this month on October 31st. The comopany’s stock is traded on the New York Stock Exchange by COH and will change to TPR on October 31st as well. The company is currently the owner of Coach, Kate Spade, and Stuart Weitzman.

Street Style Bloggers Don’t Want to Disclose Sponsored Posts

Street style bloggers we’re all over fashion news when they said they don’t want to disclose sponsored posts. The FTC, however, requires them to disclose when they have been paid by a brand to posts something online on their own websites or on social media. Bloglovin’ recently held a discussion on marketing for steet style bloggers, Instagramers, youtubers, and more in which Katie Sturino, founder of street style blog 12ish Style, said, “I hate telling people things are sponsored, especially when I really love the brand.” She continued to say, “immediately it just feels like ‘Ugh. She’s getting a paycheck.’ Everyone tries to work with brands that’s they feel good about.”

Phoebe Philo Said to be Leaving Céline

Phoebe Phile is said to be leaving Céline. LVMH is also said to be interviewing some designers to replace her as well as hiring new people for the brand’s design. team Philo has been with the brand for over 10 years. A source with knowledge of the interviews said, “the interviews have been going on for a while now.” Philo has been expected to leave by the end of the year and her resignation had been agreed before the summer, according to a source with knowledge of the interviews.
