British Vogue has announced that Pat McGrath is the magazine’s new Beauty Editor at Large as well as other new hires.
According to an article on WWD, British Vogue has announced that Pat McGrath is the magazine’s new Beauty Editor at Large. The magazine also announced other new hires in both fashion and beauty. This comes just a couple of months after Lucinda Chambers was fired from the magazine.
Makeup artists and hair stylists Guido Palau, Sam McKnight, Charlotte Tilbury, and Val Garland have been hired as contributing beauty editors. Johan Svensson, who previously worked as design director of W and art director of Vogue Paris, is the magazine’s new creative director. Model Adwoa Aboah has been hired as Contributing Editor and Caroline Wolff is the magazine’s new Editor at Large.
Stylist Poppy Kain has been hired as Senior Fashion Editor and Jack Borkett as Fashion Editor. Kate Phelman, however, remains as Senior Contributing Fashion Editor. The magazine also made quite a few more hires in fashion.
Editor in Chief Edward Enninful released a statement saying, “all inspirational and highly regarded in their individual fields, I’m really excited to see my vision for the British Vogue team come to fruition. I’m very much looking forward to working with everyone on forthcoming issues.”
A couple of months ago British Vogue announced that Lucinda Chamber resigned as fashion director of the magazine. Then, earlier this month Vestoj published an interview in which Chamber says she was fired from British Vogue.
Enninful replaced Alexandra Shulman as Editor in a Chief of British Vogue earlier this year. He, however, hasn’t even started working yet and he is already hiring new people to work with him.
