This year’s annual British Fashion Awards, now known as “The Fashion Awards”, were held Monday at the Royal Albert Hall in London at 7PM. With over 4,000 guests, including the biggest names in the industry, and 51 nominees, only 14 awards are handed out each year. Awards include top British womenswear designs, British brand of the year, and international model of the year. The awards, of course, are over and I’ve listed all the winners.
British Brand Award
Alexander McQueen won the British Brand Award.
The nominees were Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Christopher Kane, Erdem, and Stella McCartney.
British Womenswear Designer Award
Simone Rocha won the British Womenswear Designer Award.
The nominees were Christopher Kane for Christopher Kane, Jonathan Anderson for J.W. Anderson, Roksanda Ilincic for Roksanda, Sarah Burton OBE for Alexander McQueen, and Simone Rocha for Simone Rocha.
British Menswear Designer Award
Craig Green won the British Menswear Designer Award.
The nominees were Craig Green for Craig Green, Grace Wales Bonner for Wales Bonner, Jonathan Anderson for J.W. Anderson, Tom Ford for Tom Ford, and Dame Vivienne Westwood for Vivienne Westwood.
British Emerging Design Talent Award
Molly Goddard won the British Emergin Design Talent Award.
The nominees were Alessandra Rich, Charles Jeffrey, Faustian Steinmetz, Molly Goddard, and Self-Portrait.
International Business Leader
Marco Bizzarri won the International Business Leader award.
The nominees were Adrian Joffe for Comme des Garçons and Dover Street Market, Christopher Bailey MBE for Burberry, Guram Gvasalia for Vetements, Marco Bizzarri for Gucci, and Stefano Sassi for Valentino.
International Urban Luxury Brand
Vetements won the International Urban Luxury Brand award.
The nominees were Adidas, Gosha Rubchinskiy, Off-White, Palace, and Vetements.
International Model of the Year
Everyone was waiting to see who’d win this award. Competing with Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner who have both had very successful years, Gigi Hadid won the International Model of the Year award.

The nominees were Adwoa Aboah, Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Lineisy Montero.
International Accessories Designer
Alessandro Michele won the International Accessories Designer award.
The nominees were Alessandro Michele for Gucci, Anya Hindmarch MBE for Anya Hindmarsh, Johnny Coca for Mulberry, Jonathan Anderson for Loewe, and Stuart Vevers for Coach.
International Ready-to-Wear Designer
Demna Gvaslia won the International Ready to Wear Designer award.
The nominees were Alessandro Michele for Gucci, Demna Gvasalia for Balenciaga, Donatella Versace for Versace, Jonathan Anderson for Loewe, and Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy.
Swarovski Award for Positive Change
Vogue Italia editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani won the Swarovski Award for Positive Change.
Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator
Photographer Bruce Weber won the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator.
New Fashion Icons Award
Willow and Jaden Smith won the New Fashion Icons Award.
Outstanding Achievement in Fashion Award
Ralph Lauren won the Outstanding Achievement in Fashion Award.
Special Recognition Award Celebrating 100 Years of British Vogue
Editor-in-chief Alexandra Shulman won the Special Recognition Award in celebration of 100 years of British Vogue. British Vogue received a custom award designed by Marc Newson that was made specially for the magazine to celebrate its 100th year.
