The CFDA Fashion Awards were held on Monday and Vogue has announced the winners.
According to an article on Fashionista, the CFDA Fashion Awards were held on Monday, June 4th for the first time at the Brooklyn Museum. Vogue has announced the winners at an event celebrating the best U.S. designers who were voted on by fashion industry professionals.
There were special honorees at the event, like Kim Kardashian, and designers received awards for womenswear, menswear, accessories, and new talent. The winners, of course, included the usual with Donatella Versace winning the International Award, Raf Simons for Calvin Klein winning the Womenswear Designer of the Year, and Ralph Lauren being honored at the event.
Raf Simons and Calvin Klein seem to always win every year and they are always nominated. I’m surprised Alexander Wang didn’t win anything as he seems to always win and be nominated as well.
In an interview on Facebook Live with model Candice Huffine before the event, Kim Kardashian said, “I’m so humbled by this award. I’m super inspired by my husband fashion-wise, he helps me with all my looks. He’s my best stylist.”
Here are all the winners of the CFDA Fashion Awards.
