Gigi Hadid Responds to Tommy Hilfiger’s Comments About Her Body

About 2 weeks ago, Tommy Hilfiger was all over fashion news sites when he said his casting director covered up Gigi Hadid with poncho because of her body. The casting director said she didn’t fit “because, you know, she’s not quite as tall as the other girls, she’s not quite as thin.” Gigi Hadid has since responded to those comments and said, “I know that when Tommy said it last week, it was in context of a larger story that wasn’t shown in that video. I know that the point of that story was that Tommy was rooting for me, and that regardless of what the stylist of that season said or what he put me in, Tommy wanted me in the show and Tommy was pushing for me and Tommy loved my curves.”

Burberry Cuts Product Lines to Focus on Newest Garments, Accessories

Burberry announced that it will be cutting 15% – 25% of its product lines to work on its newest lines. This is part of an effort to attract more shoppers as the brands profits decline. Burberry has been examining products for revenue growth opportunities and says it will reinvent its handbag collection around a new strategy. The brand also said it has refined a store profiling model that will help it better tailor stock to the kinds of customers that visit its stores. This comes after the brand’s first “see now, buy now” show in September, which also showed both men’s and women’s collections together.

Céline’s Spring 2017 Bags are Here, and We Have More than 90 Photos and Prices!

Céline just released a lookbook with photos of all of the bags from the brand’s Spring 2017 collection. The lookbook has photos of almost 100 bags with prices and PurseBlog has listed them all. The collection, of course, includes the Luggage Tote and the Belt Bag but there are a lot of new bags as well. What’s more, all the bags are available in stores now.

Teen Vogue Will Now Only Publish 4 Issues a Year

Condé Nast made fashion news when it announced that Teen Vogue will go from publishing 9 issue annually to publishing just 4 a year. The new publishing schedule is a result of Condé Nast’s increase in investments in Teen Vogue’s online content. The December 2016/ January 2017 issue will be the last of the magazine’s current publishing schedule. The new magazine is set to launch next year in Spring as a large book with a “collectible ‘keepsake’ feel.” Condé Nast also announced that Teen Vogue is promoting Amy Oelkers to Head of Revenue. Oelkers will report to Jim Norton, Chief Business Officer and President of Revenue of Condé Nast.
