Hermès Will No Longer Provide Annual Sales Growth Forecasts

Hermès has announced that it will not provide annual sales forecasts. Even though there was news that the Brexit made luxury sales increase in Britain, luxury market’s sales are still decreasing. Hermès had sales increase this year but the brand still does not want to provide any sales forecasts because sales may still decline.

Lupita Nyong’o Cover ‘Vogue’ for the Second October in a Row

Lupita Nyong’o was on the cover of last year’s Vogue October issue and she got on the cover again this year. To celebrate she posted a video of herself in boxing the magazine on Instagram. Unlike last year’s cover, this year’s isn’t in promotion any movie. It’s more about Nyong’o, where she comes from, and what she wants to do in her career.

Mansur Gavriel’s SS17 Presentation at New York Fashion Week

Mansur Gavriel debuted new handbag and shoe styles for their Spring/Summer 2017 collection at a presentation during New York Fashion Week. The brand debuted 9 news handbag styles, 8 new shoe styles, and some new fabrics and colors. This is the first time the brand has made a multicolored bag including a light blue bag with tan handles, a white and black bag, and red sandals with a thick white trim. The brand also debuted a new checkered bag and used silk and grosgrain in their new bags and shoes.

Ralph Lauren to Present See-Now-Buy-Now Fall Collection

Ralph Lauren has adopted the “see now, buy now” business model for its Fall/Winter 16/17 collection. The collection was available for purchase immediately after the show at the brand’s boutiques, online, and at a few stores globally. The collection showed 45 new fall looks in front of the brand’s store on Madison Ave in New York.
