Dolce & Gabbana Accused Philipp Plein of Stealing Employees

Dolce & Gabbana accused Philipp Plein of stealing employees and said they would sue in a letter Plein posted and responded to on Instagram.

According to an article on WWD, Dolce & Gabbana accused Philipp Plein of stealing employees. The brand sent Plein a letter alleging that Philipp Plein International has contacted around 10 of its employees in an attempt to steal them. The employees Plein was accused of contacting are mostly sales assistants at Dolce & Gabanna’s main store on Via Della Spiga in Milan.

Starting around October, two of Plein’s employees Andrea Lanza Cariccio and Jack Cuccato contacted sales assistants to offer them jobs at Plien’s new showroom in Milan, according to the letter. The letter also points out that both Cariccio and Cuccato have previously worked for Dolce & Gabbana.

The letter went on to point out that all the employees Cariccio and Cuccato contacted all work at the same store. The employees, as said by Dolce & Gabbana, have seniority and relationships with various clients who are considered “very important for DG, for loyalty and sales volume.”
