Coach Releases New Apple Watch Bands

A couple of months ago I was informed by a sales associate that Coach was making Apple Watch bands that could be released as early as June. A couple of days later I was told by another sales associate that the bands may not be released until this fall. A out a month after that, I found a product listing and a photo of one of the bands on Coach.com and 9to5Mac was told the bands would be released June 6. Then I was told the bands would be released June 12th. Now, Coach has released the Apple Watch bands both online and in stores.

Coach has released their Apple Watch bands both online and in stores just a couple of days after they weren’t released at WWDC as expected. Boutiques began recieving the bands Thursday but, as a sales associate told me earlier this week, the release date for the bands is Friday, June 17th.

There is the Leather Watch Strap with Charms in Black, Saddle (brown) and Chalk (white), the Wild Beast Camo Leather Strap in Denim (blue), Saddle, and Military Green, and the Tea Rose Appliqué Leather Strap in Black, Tawny (orange), and Chalk.

The bands were said to retail at $150 each but the Leather Watch Strap with Charms and Wild Beast Camo Leather Strap cost $125. The Tea Rose Appliqué Leather Strap is the only band that costs $150.

These are all women’s watch bands, which would usually be for the 38mm Apple Watch, but they do come in different sizes depending on the style.

The Leather Watch Strap with Charms and the Tea Rose Appliqué Leather Strap only come in 38mm while the Wild a Beast Camo Leather Strap only comes in 42mm.

The Leather Watch Strap with Charms also has different charms depending on the color. They all have a tag that say “Coach” on it but the black band has a dinosaur, the brown band has a star, and the white band has a flower.

Take a look at the bands in the photos below.

A sales associate informed me that the bands are being made in limited quantities and that she expects them to sell out quickly and they are.

Below each item description there is a disclaimer that says, “please note that there is a purchase limit of three pieces per customer for this style. In addition, there is a purchase limit of 10 pieces total per customer from the Apple Watch® strap collection.”

The chalk colors in both the Leather Watch Strap with Charms and Tea Rose Appliqué Leather Strap seem to be sold out already as the button to purchase the bands says “item unavailable”.

Also, while confirming whether or not these stores would have the bands, a sales associate said they were selling out. So, if you want to get one, get it now before they’re sold out.
