Last week, I found a product listing and a photo of one of the Coach Apple Watch bands that I was informed about in April. An Apple Watch Leather Strap with Charms had been listed on Coach.com and 9to5Mac found more listings and was told by a sales associate that the watch bands would be arriving at stores Monday, June 6th. Now, a sales associate says the watch bands won’t be in stores until next week.
According to a sales associate at a Coach boutique on Madison Ave in New York, the watch bands may not be available in stores until the 12th as they haven’t arrived in stores or warehouses yet and the 12th is when they should be receiving their first shipment. The sales associate also says that the bands were made in small quantities so she expects them to sell quickly.
The sales associate also emailed photos of all 3 styles (below) including the Leather Strap with Charms, the Wild Beast Camo model, and the Tea Rose Appliqué band to be available in 3 different colors, making 9 bands in total. Each band will retail for $150 and the size the bands will be available in is currently unknown.
Photo The Leather Strap with Charms will be available in Black, Chalk (white), and Saddle (brown), the Wild Beast Camo band will come in Denim (blue), Saddle, and Military Green, and the Tea Rose Appliqué band will come in Black, Tawny (orange), and Chalk. The red band that I reported in the first photos was just the Leather Strap with a Charms in Saddle and probably looked like that because of the photos were taken with an iPad.
A representative for the company has also said that the bands will only be available in select stores, including stores in California, Nevada, and New York, and won’t be available for purchase online. The sales associate at the brand’s Madison Ave boutique says the bands may get a later launch online, though.
Regardless, the bands will be available this month and if you can’t get one at a store near you, a sales associate can order one for you and have it shipped to the store.
Also, the June 12th availability may be because the bands might be announced at Apple’s WWDC this year as the event is being held on the 13th of this month. Coach might just want to have the bands available in stores just before they are announced.
