Can Women Please Stop Wearing Double Buns?

So, there is this hair trend that has been going around for a while that I don’t like. That trends is double buns. It’s not new but it’s been getting popular again since last year and everyone has been wearing it from Chiara Ferragni to Kendal Jenner. The hairstyle, however, is better worn by someone in their early 20’s or younger but older women keep wearing it.

Double buns have been around for about 20 years now but the hair style been getting popular again. Last year, fashion publications wrote all about it saying it was back in style, writing tutorials on how to do the hair style, and posting photos of celebrities wearing it. It was also quite popular among fashion bloggers. Chiara Ferragni, for example, wore it a lot last year and still wears it.

Kendal Jenner has also worn the style as well as Cara Delevingne, Khloé Kardashian, and Gigi Hadid. They and many more women have worn the hair style. The only thing is that it’s much better worn by someone in their early 20’s or younger.

This is a teenage hair style that could only be worn into your early 20’s because that’s the only person it looks good on. It doesn’t look good when someone in their 30’s walks around wearing it. Ferragni is another perfect example of this. She is 30 and is still dressing like she’s a teenager.

Kardashian is 33, however, she mostly dresses like she’s in her early to mid 20’s. She does dress like a teenager sometimes but not usually.

Quite a lot of the women who wear this hair style are way too old for it. This is for teenagers. These women could be dressing a lot more elegantly and putting their hair in much more mature styles and would be taken a lot more seriously if they did. The fashion industry is, however, all about trends and these women are quite involved in it.

It’s their hair and they can wear it however they want but it just looks ridiculous when someone as mature as Ferragni or Jenner walks around dressing like a teenager. It’s not, however, much of a surprise that someone who still walks around in torn jeans or denim shorts and dresses in a loud, ostentatious style would wear that hair style.
