Balenciaga Releases New Bags With Large Logos on Them

Balenciaga has released some new bags with large logos on them for its Resort 2019 collection.

According to an article on PurseBlog, Balenciaga has released some new bags with large logos on them for its Resort 2019 collection. The bags feature large logos on the front of them as well as a monogram on the front of some of the bags.

The brand showed its Resort 2019 collection earlier this week and showed quite a few bags with a large logo on the front of them. The bags were top handle bags similar to the Hermès Bolide. There were also some crossbody bags that had a monogram on them much in the way Chanel has its monogram on the push locks and turn locks of its crossbody bags.

The bags are tacky, though. They are loud and ostentatious. Wearing a handbag in monogram can be tacky anyway but these are very tacky. The bags usually have a noticeable logo on them anyway but the brand out even larger logos on the, for this collection.

The bags are, however, apparently a joke. The brand is “mocking fashion and its consumers for fetishizing logos,” according to PurseBlog. Regardless, the bags are still tacky even if you wear it as a joke. They’re just too loud and ostentatious. Louis Vuitton bags in monogram can be loud and ostentatious even if you wear it in a way that compliments your outfit.

People will still wear it, though. I’m sure celebrities and street style bloggers will wear these bags. People also often wear things celebrities and street style bloggers wear whether it’s tacky or not.
