Apple held it’s annual iPhone event in San Francisco yesterday. The company went over the usual; updates, new iPhone, and new Apple Watch. Then, unexpectedly, Apple announced new bands for the Apple Watch Hermès.
Apple announced two entirely new bands (below), updated the colors on two old bands, and released a special sport band (below) for the Apple Watch Hermès. The new bands include the Double Buckle Cuff and the Single Tour Deployment Buckle and a sport band in Hermès’ signature orange. The Single Tour and Double Tour from last year got new colors and the cuff from last year has been discontinued.
Different colors come in different types of leather as well.
The Double Buckle Cuff comes in Étoupe Swift Leather, Bleu Agate Epsom Leather, and Rose Jaipur Epsom Leather and is only available for the 38mm Apple Watch. You can get a stainless steel watch with the Double Buckle Cuff in Étoupe Swift Leather for $1,499. The bands are available separately in the additional colors for $689.
The Single Tour Deployment Buckle comes in Fauve Barenia Leather and is only available for the 42mm Apple Watch. The stainless steel watch with the Single Tour Deployment Buckle costs $1,399 and the band doesn’t seem to be available separately.
The Single Tour comes in Étoupe Swift Leather, Anémone Swift Leather, Bleu Agate Espom Leather, and Rose Jaipur Espom Leather. This band is available for both the 38mm and 42mm Apple Watches. The Anèmone band, however, is only available for the 38mm model.
A stainless steel watch with the Single Tour in Rose Jaipur Epsom Leather starts at $1,149 for the 38mm watch. You can also get it in Fauve Barenia Leather in both 38mm and 42mm sizes and Feu Epsom Leather in 42mm. The band is available separately for $339.
The Double Tour come in Étoupe Swift Leather, Anèmone Swift Leather, Bleu Agate Epsom Leather, and Rose Jaipur Epsom Leather and is available only for the 38mm Apple Watch. The stainless steel watch with the Double Tour band in Étoupe Swift Leather or Fauve Barenia Leather costs $1,299. The band is available separately for $489.
As for the sport band, it comes in Hermès’ signature orange and is included with every Apple Watch Hermès model. The band is not available separately.
The Apple Watch Hermès will be available online for pre-order Friday, September 9th and available for purchase both online and at select boutiques later this month.
